Music for your Special Event

the concert harp

Angelic Strings

Michael plays at about 10 retirements homes per month in and around Austin.  Michael really loves playing harp, singing, and playing trumpet  for the residents.  He’s found through the years that beautiful harp music at a retirement home (when unaccompanied by voice or trumpet) will put everyone to sleep.  The purpose of retirement home entertainment is generally to have fun!

So unless requested to simply play a certain style of music, Michael will perform a fun and entertaining set consisting of many of the songs below.... (& when it works for the residents, one or two gorgeous classical pieces are also included)

Feedback from activity director Keb Burns at the Meridian in Waco from my first recent performance at their beautiful facility: (11/8/10)
“I have received an abundance of wonderful comments about you from our residents. They absolutely loved you! “

My Favorite Things

“We welcome Michael into our community once a month.  It’s obvious that he genuinely enjoys performing for seniors and the residents appreciate that he takes the time to chat with everyone who comes to hear him.  I love watching our resident’s eyes light up as the songs bring back memories for them.  We love hearing him play old tunes and we often sing and dance along with his music!” - Kelly K.
